The wedding of Edna Joyce, only daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Nicolle, of Claren
don, to Thomas Carlyle, eldest son of Mr.
and the late Mrs. A. .McFarlane, of Challa
Gardens, was celebrated in the Kangarilla
Methodist Church. The Rev. G. F. Johnson,
of Clarendon, officiated. The bride wore
brocaded cloque, and her embroidered tulle
veil was held in place by a coronet of orange
blossom. She carried a sheaf of white
flowers. Miss Nell Crowder, bride's cousin,
was bridesmaid, and Mr. A. R. Kerr, groom's
brother-in-law, was best man. The bride
travelled in an ensemble of burnt toast with
artichoke accessories. Their future home
will be at Challa Gardens.
