Mabel Alice Wright, the only child of Thomas and Alice Wright attended Kangarilla Primary School from Nov 1907 to April 1909 when the family moved to Echunga. Mabel married Horace Bailey of Echunga c1920 and they lived in the Echunga area all their lives. Horace was a share farmer with his brother William Chales Bailey and some of this land has been in the family since 1859 when Echunga was subdivided as a town.
