Mr. Henry Nicolle, wno died sud
denly at Kangarilla on March 10, in
his 58th year, had lived in the district
nearly all his life. He was born at
Clarendon, but removed to Kangarilla
while still quite young. On May 5,
1897, he married Miss Amy May, of
Yorketown. Always a keen and expert
dairyman, his herd contained many
show prizewinners. He had been a
member of the Kangarilla branch of
the Agricultural Bureau from its in
auguration. He was a trustee of the
local Temperance Hall,, and of the
Methodist Church. He was also a
teacher of the Methodist- Sunday
school. When the news of his death
was received the local sports clubs
cancelled their week-end matches, and
the Methodist Church fete was post
poned. He leaves a widow and one
daughter. Mrs. V. Whiting, of 'Tin-
